ABOUT THE ROLE

For our client in the telecommunications industry, we are looking for a Java developer with 6+ years of experience in the field. You will join an agile squad with about six developers and DevOps, taking an end-to-end responsibility of the health and wellbeing of your microservices, both when building new features and in production.

 If you have a solid technical background, have a passion for software development, but are also curious about other technologies – then we have a very exciting opportunity for you.

Requirements:

• Thorough backend experience in Java (6+ years)
• Excellent knowledge of Spring/SpringBoot
• Integration projects in APIs
• TDD
• Understanding of cloud-based web applications infra and deployment (AWS, Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes/EKS, Jenkins)
• Relational databases (preferably Oracle)
• Git
• Maven
• Scrum
• Interest in investigating, explaining, documenting and teaching as well as coding and quality assurance work.
• Willingness to execute and own both big and small tasks.
• Pragmatic mindset enough to enjoy improvement and automation.
